Hello,

:study:

Busy… busy… busy… that is my status for these few weeks. Most of the time is spent on finishing up my postgraduate thesis.

Fort Cornwillis

Anyway, today I bring you to see some canons… and pretty girls.

Taman Kota Lama Food Court

Taman Kota Lama Food Court

Just kidding… it is actually a food court next to Fort Cornwillis in Esplanade. To go there, assuming you come from ferry terminal, turn right at the round-a-bout with some metal nuts (or whatever). Drive until the end and turn left. Then you can park you car on left hand side and walk to the food court.

Mee Goreng

Mee Rebus

The food court is famous with its mee goreng full of cuttlefish. Forget about the one in New World Park, this one is better. The noodle is mildly fried and topped with spicy cuttlefish. The mee rebus (the soup version of the mee goreng) is really sweating even just looking on it.

Fish and Prawn

We also ordered Chicken Chop and Fish and Prawn prepared by Chinese. Both are well-fried and really nice. The mayonnaise came with Fish and Prawn is generous. Each shrimp are pre-mixed with fish fillet before putting into fry pan. We thought that they forgot to give us fish fillets at first.

Coconut Shake

Coconut Shake

The food court is also famous with its coconut shake (RM2.00), which is coconut crunched in ice with a scope of vanilla ice-cream. Tastes unique and good.

Not bad for my first visit there even though the food court looks aged.

    Hi lingzie,

I myself also not a fan of mee goreng as I like to sweat a lot when tasting spicy food…. like already boxing for 10 rounds that kind… it is nice experience anyway (provided nobody starring at you).. haha.
