Durian Fiesta
Those travel around Penang should see (and smell) something special along the road recently, that is, it is durian session (usually from May – August). Normal day, I won’t dare to enjoy it as it will be the WMD in my office. Last Friday, Steven Goh, Criz Lai, FoOd PaRaDiSe, Cariso, and I had a “durian fiesta” at Sungai Batu which is near to Teluk Kumbar, which was invited by the owner’s pretty daughter :love:
If you are accidentally free in the evening, don’t open your RMVB files or eat bread at home. You should relax yourself by having a jog outside, or enjoy a nice dinner, or both. What a hazy weekend. If you want MC, just go out jogging for 1 hour and your wish will be granted. Weather like this should stay at home… such as Home’s Cafe at D’Piazza, Bayan Baru. Yeah, we visited it again after hearing that some items had been improved.

Korean Charbroiled Salad
Previously I reviewed BBQ Chicken Restaurant in Gurney Plaza. It was a good alternative for restaurant “K” here. The olive fried chicken is not oily and you can consume 3 pieces at no “harm” (e.g. less chance to get stomach due to oily stuff). Today I bring you again to this Korean restaurant at New World Park and see how’s the menu.

CHE GO Korean BBQ Dining Area
How was your weekend? For some, weekend is their shopping day. I don’t particularly like it as shopping complexes are usually crowded with people, not to mention paying for more expensive parking fee for limited space. I went to AEON Sebarang Prai last Saturday noon and surprisingly it was not crowded at all. I also paid CHE GO Korean BBQ Restaurant a visit.

Finally I can take a deep breath after submitting my thesis yesterday :worry: … but not too long before the presentation. Anyway, I enjoyed last weekend as I had an invited review to Ko-Fu Loft at Gurney Plaza with fellow food bloggers.
