Annyong haseyo?
Previously I reviewed BBQ Chicken Restaurant in Gurney Plaza. It was a good alternative for restaurant “K” here. The olive fried chicken is not oily and you can consume 3 pieces at no “harm” (e.g. less chance to get stomach due to oily stuff). Today I bring you again to this Korean restaurant at New World Park and see how’s the menu.
The menu had changed so I look for something that I never tried before. I ordered 1 appetizer, 1 main course, and 1 drink. The Korean Charbroiled Salad (RM11.50++) was the traditional classic with crisp garden greens, tomatoes and topped with grilled chicken leg. Not bad. The chicken was tender.
Now what do we have here? Is a drink or pop corn? No, it is drink + pop corn chicken! It was Col Pop Chicken (RM9.00++) which was a unique serving bite-sized chicken meat and your favourite drink all in a cup. I ordered 7-up as the drink below. Compared to restaurant “K”, this one was disappointing as the chicken meat are not so tender. You see two strolls there? This drink is good for couple, not someone like me.
Now here come the main course – Boneless Grilled Chicken Sandwich (RM16.90++). I was told that the long burger bun was not available and they gave me round one instead…. seems like business was “good”. It was similar to Korean Charbroiled Salad with the different that this one is slightly spicy. I prefer to have some salad or mash potato instead of french fries.
Now what do we have here? A BONE in Boneless Grilled Chicken Sandwich??
As a whole, the food was average and the previous menu was better. The current menu basically just uses the same ingredient and manipulate it into different dishes (e.g. Grilled Chicken Rice, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Pasta, etc) The service in this New World Park branch could be better as well. I was entertained with nonsense TV channel of different language while I am the only customer at that time. The environment is also kind of warm.

Hi New Kid On The Blog,
You can try its Olive Oil Fried Chicken… not so oily and stuffy. I still prefer the Gurney Plaza branch. Haha~

Hi Reny,
Yeah the Col-Pop is special. The pop corn chicken is warm as it is just fried. In return, I feel that the 7-Up become not so cold bcuz of the pop-corn chicken. Haha~
