<p>Ever wonder what is the top cancer for men and women? Is cancer related to things you eat?</p>
<p><span id="more-2565"></span>For Malaysian, top cancer for men is <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>colorectal cancer </strong></span>结肠癌, followed by lung cancer. Obviously these are from men bad habits &#8211; <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>smoking</strong></span> and <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>alcohol</strong></span>. Also, heavy consumption on <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>red meat </strong></span>will contribute to <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>colorectal cancer </strong></span>as well. Taking <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Vitamin B6 </strong></span>will reduce the risk of getting colorectal cancer.</p>
<p>For women, sadly breast cancer is more difficult to prevent but again, <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>smoking </strong></span>and <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>alcohol </strong></span>will increase the chance of getting it.</p>

<p>Guess what, I have <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>fatty liver</strong></span>. Even though it is common, the ultimate outcome will be liver cancer if no treatment is taken. I found out this when I performed blood test few years back. One of liver statements called Gamma GT (GGT) is way too high (Pass = 49, mine = 200+). I do not drink alcohol or smoke. One reason I can think of is probably due to my eating habit, which is too &#8220;tam chiak&#8221; (overeating). Below are some tips on how to avoid fatty liver using natural diets.</p>
<p><span id="more-1372"></span></p>
<ol>
<li>Consume adequate amount of vinegar.</li>
<li>Reduce the intake of garlic. Even though it is found beneficial to human body, overdose will cause protein in red blood cell to reduce, which is bad for fatty liver patients.</li>
<li>(Seriously I can&#8217;t do this) Don&#8217;t drink tea during meal. It contains <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tannin" target="_blank">tannin</a> which absorb iron. In long run, it causes anemia and makes digest system slow =&gt; more toxic enter into our body.</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t limit yourself on food. Take all kind of food.</li>
<li>No alcoholic drink please.</li>
<li>Take vitamin supplements.</li>
<li>Take more high fiber food. Go toilet frequently.</li>
<li>Utilize color. Pink color calms down patients. White/sea blue reduces tension. Green helps recovery. Have a walk outside.</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t read books/watch TV over a long time of period.</li>
</ol>
<p>Also, based on my experience, it is found that <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>milk thistle </strong></span>somehow about to reduce GGT index.</p>

<li>Take a hot shower or SPA before sleep. (Cheap slave like me only afford to bath using water from well)</li>
<li>Massage on legs.</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t drink alcoholic drink or drinks containing caffeine. Don&#8217;t do heavy exercise before sleeping as well.</li>
<li>Check if you have anemia (贫血). Take iron supplement if necessary.</li>

<li>Have yearly medical checkup. Those having cardiovascular diseases should check every 3-6 months.</li>
</ol>
<p>* Red meat means those meats having red colour when they are raw, e.g. tuna, cow, sheep. White meats are such as chicken, rabbit, and pig. It doesn&#8217;t mean that red meat is always bad. The definition can change from time to time and is depended on culture.</p>

<li>Don&#8217;t use unapproved &#8220;secret recipe&#8221;.</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t misuse traditional medicine.</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t change the medicine by yourself.</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t use the same medicine over a long period of time (will reduce effectiveness and can be addictive).</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t misuse antibiotic, hormone, or vitamin (they won&#8217;t fix everything).</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t rely on sleeping pills (unless it is very serious).</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t rely on laxative (will cause lacking of vitamins).</li>

<p>In my opinion, as we grow older, we tend to forgot things. Even I myself also forgot to take medicine sometimes. It is okay to skip the intake once in a while. Most important is discipline. Don&#8217;t say &#8220;I don&#8217;t wanna take medicine tonight as I am too full with my dinner just now.&#8221;.</p>
<p>Also, listen to and learn from your doctor. Some doctors simply adjust the dosage based on the illness. You can seek for other doctors&#8217; opinions, self perform blood test from certified blood lab (if the illness can be measured from your blood), and see which medicine suit you most.</p>

<p>Logically, when you starving, you eat more. For those doing exercise just for the sake of reducing weight, don&#8217;t do so while you are starving. It just makes you eat more after exercise and make no different in weight loss.</p>
<p><span id="more-966"></span>The article suggests you to start exercising 1 &#8211; 4 hours after taking meal. I would say it is much depend on how big is your meal. For &#8220;double-barrel stomach&#8221; person like me, 1 hour is too early to do certain exercises (e.g. jogging) and you probably ended up with stomachache. Ideal one would be 2 &#8211; 4 hours. I usually take my lunch at 12:30pm, and have a jog at 5:00pm. Still not that bad.</p>
<p>Also, do not take any food 2 hours before going to bed.</p>
<p>For me, exercise is more on improving my stamina so that I won&#8217;t feel tired or fall sick easily. Reducing weight is not my concern. There are better way to reduce weight, such as by proper food consumption.</p>
