Restoran Teow Chew Meng

I am Teow Chew so it is good to look for some home cuisine outside. Penangites should familar with Teow Chew Meng (潮州銘). There are two branches in the island and I tried the one in Sunway Tunas last month.

Mee Suah Kor

One of its signature dishes is Mee Suah Kor (面线糊) (RM10.00++). Not sure whether it is Teow Chew authenticated (but who care). Anyway, it tastes like shark fin soup with addition of vinegar. The seafood inside is fresh.

Seafood Roll

Honey Lemon Hibiscus Drink

I also ordered Seafood Roll (海鲜春卷) (RM10.00++). It is just an ordinary spring roll stuffed with seafood. The drink I ordered – Honey Lemon Hibiscus (RM6.90++) is a recommended item in the menu. It tastes good but is slightly sweet.

At first glance, the food is okay but the price can be lowered. Hope I am not the only customer the next time I visit them.
