Recently, we noticed that some restaurants, including The Bungalow in Lone Pine Hotel, like to pour seafood freshly stir-fried from kitchen onto customer’s dining table and ask the customers to eat them using bare hands. No, they are not crazy but this is a new trend to share and enjoy seafood without any cutlery. Just hands.
Lone Pine Ice Tea – a thirst quencher so good until I forgot to ask for its price. Best consumed when laying down lazily on beach, the ice-crushed tea tasted a bit like Taiwanese tea with addition of secret ingredients. Definitely unique and is a must-try when you are in Lone Pine Hotel, Batu Ferringhi, Penang.
It has been a while since I entered a fine dining restaurant. Recently, I had an opportunity to travel to Batu Ferringhi and visited a Japanese restaurant in a high class hotel – Matsu @ Lone Pine Hotel.
